Locations in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, and Kolkata host events from August 16 through October 5.
Pikachu Meet & Greet: Where to Catch the Action
The official Indian Instagram account for Pokémon announced that Hamleys toy stores will host Pikachu meet-and-greets at the following locations:
- Pune — Mall of the Millenium, Wakad (August 16 and 17)
- Mumbai — Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel (August 23 and 24)
- Bangalore — Mall of Asia, Yelahanka (August 30 and 31)
- Chennai — Phoenix Marketcity (September 6 and 7)
- Hyderabad — Sarath City Capital (September 13 and 14)
- Delhi NCR — DLF Mall of India, Noida (September 20 and 21)
- Chandigarh — Elante Mall (September 27 and 28)
- Kolkata — South City Mall (October 4 and 5)

Past and Related Pokémon Events in India
- The Pokémon Carnival and Pokémon Run events took place February 27–March 2 at Jio World Garden, BKC, Mumbai.
- The Pokémon Mela in Pune occurred December 6–8 at Phoenix Marketcity, Vimannagar.
- The first Pokémon Mela was held in November 2023 at DLF Mall of India, Noida, with further events in New Delhi (DLF Avenue, Saket; DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj) and Mumbai (Phoenix Marketcity) in 2023–2024.

Behind the Scenes: Pokémon’s India Strategy
The Pokémon Company has stated that the Pokémon Mela is the first in a series of initiatives to strengthen Pokémon’s presence in India. Susumu Fukunaga, Corporate Officer at The Pokémon Company, noted at the Pokémon Festivities event on October 16 that the company aims to bring events to many cities beyond the big metros and to integrate on-ground experiences into fans’ everyday lives. The events also featured the launch of Pokémon-themed Yakult gift packs.
