Japanese publisher TO Books announced this Thursday that the popular light novel series 'Mercedes and the Waning Moon: The Dungeoneering Feats of a Discarded Vampire Aristocrat' is officially getting an anime adaptation.

- The 8th volume of the novel is set to be released digitally on August 15.
About the Series:
- The story follows Mercedes Grunewald, who is reincarnated as a vampire into a noble family. Despite knowing her father will choose an heir other than her, Mercedes is determined to carve out her own path.
- With her family struggling and her mother lacking skills, Mercedes begins training in dungeon crawling from a very young age—thanks to her vampire heritage, she has the potential to become strong.
