Wit Studio has just unveiled a stunning key visual and promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Kana Akatsuki's popular light novel series, Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring. The announcement was made on Monday, and fans are already buzzing!

Series Details and Creative Team
The series is directed by Ken Yamamoto, known for Uma Musume Pretty Derby and Hisuian Snow. He is working alongside Kazuhiro Furuhashi as animation adviser, who has an impressive background including Mobile Suit Gundam UC and Spy×Family. The scripts are overseen by Ayumu Hisao, with Namiko Torii designing the characters.

The Series and Its Origins
Agents of the Four Seasons is a beloved series licensed by Yen Press. The story explores the myth of the seasons, starting with Winter, who creates Spring to love, and the cycle continues with Summer and Autumn. The main character, Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, disappeared ten years ago but has now returned to restore balance.

A manga adaptation by Nappa Komatsuda launched in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine in July 2022, with the fifth volume released in February 2024. Additionally, Yuriko Asami started a separate manga titled Shunka Shūtō Daikōsha Moka Momoyo in May 2023, with the second volume out in December 2024.
About Kana Akatsuki
Akatsuki's Violet Evergarden series won the grand prize at the 5th Kyoto Animation Award in 2014. The novels inspired a successful anime adaptation, including a TV series, side stories, and a theatrical sequel.
