A new teaser trailer has been released, giving fans their first look at what's ahead. The trailer also confirmed the staff lineup and a premiere scheduled for April 2026.

Staff and Production
Chihiro Kumano, known for The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei, will direct the new season at project No.9, taking over from Li Hua Wang.

Background and Previous Season
The first season aired in January 2023, premiering on Tokyo MX, and also broadcasted on BS NTV and AT-X. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.

Light Novel and Manga
The story began serialization on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in December 2018, and print volumes with illustrations by Hanekoto started in June 2019 via SB Creative's GA Bunko imprint.
A manga adaptation by Suzu Yūki launched on the Manga UP! platform in January 2022. The manga is licensed by Square Enix Manga & Books.
