Anime Central 2025: Voice Actress Satomi Arai to Appear in Rosemont

Anime Central (ACen), the popular Illinois-based anime convention, has announced that acclaimed voice actress Satomi Arai will be attending this year's event.
About Satomi Arai
Satomi Arai is renowned for her roles in popular anime series such as:
- Kuroko Shirai in A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun
- Beatrice in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-
- Sayoko Shinozaki in Code Geass
She has also lent her vocals to the ending theme of Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan and an insert song for Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch.
Beyond anime, Arai has contributed music and voice work for multiple video game franchises, including:
- SaGa: Emerald Beyond
- Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana 2
- Goddess of Victory: NIKKE
- Tales of Berseria
Additionally, she has worked on drama CDs like Utawareru Mono Original Drama: Tuskuru no Nairan.
In 2012, Satomi Arai married fellow voice actor Yoshimitsu Shimoyama.
