Exciting News for Arknights Fans: New Anime and Theme Song Reveal
ReoNa will perform the opening theme for the upcoming series Arknights: RISE FROM EMBER, debuting on July 4. The staff behind this third season of the popular anime adaptation of the Chinese mobile game by Hypergryph recently released the opening sequence video.

About the Series
Set in the fantasy world of Terra, Arknights features a mix of modern science-fiction elements. The story revolves around the Infected—people affected by the rare mineral Originium, which causes devastating Catastrophes and a deadly disease called Oripathy. The medical company Rhodes Island offers aid and a sense of belonging to these often-shunned individuals, while battling against the terrorist group Reunion.
The game, developed by Studio Montagne and Hypergryph, was released in China in 2019 and globally in 2020. It has inspired several animated projects, including the Arknights: Prelude to Dawn series and the recent Perish in Frost anime.
Additional Content
A new web anime titled U Takes Terra, directed by Jun Aoki, will debut in 2025. It features U-Official, a comically unlucky VTuber character, with the first episode already available in English.
