New Atelier Game Launches for PS5, Switch, and PC in the West, Also on PS4 in Japan

Koei Tecmo announced the upcoming release of Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian (Japanese: Kurenai no Renkinjutsushi to Shiro no Shugosha: Resleriana no Atelier), a fresh addition to the beloved Atelier franchise.

Background and Related Titles

Atelier Resleriana follows the September 2023 mobile title Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator, developed by Koei Tecmo, Gust, and Akatsuki Games. That game was first released for iOS and Android in Japan, then globally on January 25 for iOS, Android, and PC via Steam. The English service ended on March 28.

About the Story

The game revolves around Resna, a young alchemist determined to revive the lost art of alchemy, alongside her friends:

• Isana: A beastgirl knight and Resna’s best friend
• Roman: A self-proclaimed "handsome adventurer"
• Saskia: Resna’s alchemy teacher
