The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest has revealed exciting new details, including a new teaser visual and a fresh cast member.
New Cast Member: Masumi Tazawa
Masumi Tazawa will voice the character Clasia Annerose in the series scheduled to premiere this October.

Visuals and Production Details
The series will be directed by Ken Takahashi (known for Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!, Butlers x Battlers, Ragna Crimson) at Gekkō, with Masamune Hirata as assistant director.
Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Flower and Asura, Dropkick on My Devil!, Is the order a rabbit?) will handle the series scripts. Character designs are by Yōko Satō, with Nobuhide Hayashi as the sub-character designer, also serving as the chief animation director.
Music will be composed by Diosta Inc. and High Speed Boy Inc..
Additional staff includes monster designers, prop and accessory artists, art director, background creators, and sound team, all contributing to bring this fantasy world to life.
Plot Summary
The story follows Alec Yugret, a magician dedicated to support magic, especially to assist the crown prince in clearing dungeons. However, the prince later dismisses Alec, claiming support magic users are useless. Jobless, Alec is soon contacted by his old friend Yorha, who seeks his help for another dungeon adventure.
Origin and Publications
The web novel was originally serialized on Shōsetsuka ni Narō from October 2020 to September 2022 by Alto.
Kodansha published the first print volume with illustrations by Yuunagi in August 2021, with five volumes released as of August 2024.
A manga adaptation by Yuki Monji began in July 2021 on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app, debuting a month before the first novel volume. The manga’s 15th volume was released on April 9, and it is available in English on the K MANGA app.
