Exciting News for Beyblade Fans!
Disney XD has begun streaming the second season of Beyblade X, the latest anime project from Takara Tomy. The new episodes are available in English every Saturday at 7:30 a.m. EDT.
A Brief Look at Beyblade X
Beyblade X premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in October 2023. The series has since entered a new story arc in October 2024 and was globally released in July 2024.

Behind the Scenes
The anime is directed by Katsuhito Akiyama, a veteran of the series, with Sotsu Terada serving as episode director. The series is produced by OLM.

The Story
ADK Emotions NY and T-Licensing describe the plot:
Amateur Blader Robin Kazami finds himself out of a team after a crushing defeat. A chance encounter with former champ Jaxon Cross leads them to team up. Jaxon aims to return to the top of The X under the alias “Blader X” and challenge his old rival, Khrome Ryugu. When they find a third member, influencer Multi Nana-iro, their team, Team Persona, sets sights on going pro and claiming their spot at the top.
The Beyblade X Project
Announced in March 2023, Beyblade X is described as the 4th generation of Beyblade anime, following the original 1999 series, Beyblade: Metal Fusion (2008), and Beyblade Burst (2015).
The project involves:
- An anime series
- A manga launched in June 2023 by Homura Kawamoto, Hikaru Muno, and Posuka Demizu, published in Shogakukan’s Coro Coro Comics
- A new Beyblade X video game developed by FuRyu, set to release on Nintendo Switch and Steam on November 13.
Additional Insights
Homura Kawamoto, known for Kakegurui, along with Muno and Demizu, created the Beyblade X manga, which has been licensed by Viz Media.
