Titan announced on Wednesday that it will release a new comic book sequel for the popular anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus. This new mini-series continues the story from the 2022 comic arc Leaving L.A., which was itself a follow-up to the 2021 anime.

Story Setting: The story takes place in the irradiated city of Las Vegas, briefly seen in Blade Runner 2049.
Plot: The protagonist searches for answers in a ghost-town where the remnants of casinos are now inhabited by Repliants modeled after ancient civilizations. Meanwhile, Niander Wallace, the heir of Eldon Tyrell’s Replicant technology, sends mercenaries to capture her.
Creative Team: Nancy A. Collins (Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Swamp Thing) is returning to write the story, with Jesus Hervas (Blade Runner: Origins) illustrating.

Previously, Blade Runner: Black Lotus - Leaving L.A. debuted in June 2022 after some delays, written by Collins and illustrated by Enid Balam. Several artists contributed cover designs.
Series Origins & Distribution
Blade Runner: Black Lotus was produced as a 13-episode anime series through a partnership between Crunchyroll, Adult Swim, and Alcon Entertainment.
It premiered in November 2021 on Adult Swim’s Toonami block and on Crunchyroll.
The anime is based on Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to the iconic 1982 film.
Availability:
Adult Swim previously streamed the series but stopped in September 2022.
Crunchyroll continues to stream the series worldwide in Japanese with English subtitles and offers it on digital platforms.
