Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement — New Prequel Game Announced
ArtPlay and 505 Games revealed a new addition to the popular Bloodstained franchise during Sony’s State of Play livestream on Wednesday. Titled Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, this game is set before the events of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).

The developers describe the game as:
Set in a haunting world years before the events of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement follows Leo and the fearless Black Wolves as they prepare to storm the cursed Ethereal Castle and confront the rising darkness. Under the command of Lord Theodore, the warriors face horrific beasts and the malevolent Demon Lord Elias in a brutal battle for humanity's survival.
