Blue Box Manga and Anime Update

The official Twitter account for Blue Box (originally called Ao no Hako) announced an upcoming manga break on Monday. Here are the details:

• The manga will take a one-issue break in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
• The break occurs in the 27th issue (published on June 2).
• The manga will return in the 28th issue, scheduled for June 9.

Manga Availability in English

• MANGA Plus, Shueisha's digital platform, publishes the manga in English.
• Viz Media also provides both digital and physical copies of the manga.

Manga Background

• First published as a one-shot in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2020.
• Serialization started in April 2021.
• The 21st volume is set to be published on July 4.

Anime Adaptation

• The first season premiered in Japan on October 3.
• It was made available on Netflix on October 4 (Japan time).
• The season aired continuously for two cours (about half a year).
• Fans can look forward to a second season of the anime.
