The 15th issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine announced on Friday that the remote island suspense horror manga Bokura no Natsu ga Saketeiku (Summer's Gonna Tear Us Apart) will conclude in just two chapters. The manga is created by Arata Miyatsuki (story) and Kentarō Satō (art).
Setting and Plot
Set in Itsuki's hometown on Sengetsu Island, the story follows Itsuki who left the island to attend high school. He returns after his younger sister Mayu is seriously injured. However, upon his return, Itsuki notices the island's strange COVID-19 measures—like wearing masks even while eating—that make him uneasy.
One night, Itsuki encounters something mysterious near his home. What secrets lie behind the island's strict COVID-19 protocols?
