Story Overview
The series is directed by Yûji Tokuno (known for Kiratto Pri☆Chan and Pretty Boy Detective Club), with script supervision and co-writing by Naruhisa Arakawa alongside the original author Hiromu. Character design will be handled by Sumie Kinoshita.
Plot Summary
Chitose Saku is a high-achieving student at Fujishi High School, the top preparatory school in the Fukui prefecture. Highly regarded for his studies, athletics, and social skills, Saku is both admired and envied by his peers. The narrative follows Saku as he attempts to help a withdrawn classmate re-engage with school life, setting the stage for an emotional coming-of-age story.

The original light novel series debuted in June 2019, with the latest installment releasing on August 20. Yen Press is publishing the light novels and manga in North America, while Manga UP! Global offers digital editions in English.
Manga Adaptation
The manga adaptation, launched by Bobcat on Square Enix's Manga UP! platform in April 2020, saw its seventh volume published on August 19. Notably, this manga series concluded its run recently after delivering three more installments.
