Netflix Reveals New Details for 'One Piece' Live-Action Season 2
Netflix has shared exciting updates about the upcoming second season of its live-action adaptation of One Piece. During its Tudum event on Saturday, the streaming giant released a new video showcasing the character Tony Tony Chopper's look and voice, along with hints about the season's release.

In the English version, Mikaela Hoover voices Chopper and also handles facial capture for the character. The video gave fans a first look at Chopper's appearance in the series and confirmed his voice.

Season 2 Production & Content
Production on the second season began last July and has now wrapped up. Creator Eiichiro Oda announced that the new season will cover the storyline up to the Drum Island arc, including locations like Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Twin Cape, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.

Series Success and Background
One Piece debuted exclusively on Netflix in August 2023. The first season featured eight episodes—slightly less than initially expected—and earned awards for "Outstanding Original Song for a Children's or Young Teen Program" and "Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Live Program" at the Children & Family Emmy Awards.
The series is produced by Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between Marty Adelstein (known for Prison Break and Teen Wolf) and ITV Studios. Becky Clements serves as an executive producer alongside Maeda.
