New Cast, Character Promo Revealed for Chuhai Lips: Canned Flavor of Married Women Anime
The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Chuhai Lips: Canned Flavor of Married Women (Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chūhai no Aji ga Shite) is set for a July debut. Excitement is building after WWWave Corporation announced new cast additions and released a fresh character promotional video.
Main Cast Announced
- Madoka Asahina will voice Ai Natsuno, a married and tanned gyaru, in the anime's broadcast edition.
- Kokko Mikazuki will voice Ai Natsuno in the "Deregula" edition.
Additional cast members include:
- Takahide Ishii (Broadcast Edition) / Men Kaidō (Deregula Edition) as Tsuyoshi

About the Anime & Manga
The anime, based on the manga by writer Chinjao Musume and artist Tama Nogami, follows Tsuyoshi, a college student and fan of strong canned chūhai drinks. The story revolves around his fateful encounters with various married women. The word "chūhai" originally stood for "Shōchū Highball," now commonly referring to a mix of shōchū and carbonated water.
- The manga began serialization on Kodansha's YanMaga Web in February 2021.
- Kodansha released the "Luxurious full-color strong edition" starting June 2024, with the third volume out as of November 20.
About Deregula Label
WWWave's Deregula label is spearheading this adaptation as its second major title, following Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World!. Deregula is also developing the upcoming anime version of Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android? by Yakinikuteishoku.
