CITY The Animation Set to Premiere on July 6
Anime fans, mark your calendars! The highly anticipated television anime CITY — based on Keiichi Arawi's manga — is officially premiering soon.
Second Promo Video & Opening Theme
On Sunday, the show's official website released the second promotional video, giving fans a sneak peek of the opening theme song "Hello" by Riho Furui. The video showcases vibrant animation and sets the tone for what's to come.

Streaming Details
The anime will start streaming in Japan on July 7 at 24:30 JST (which is effectively July 8 at 12:30 a.m.) on Amazon Prime Video. It will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 6 at 24:00 JST (effectively July 7 at midnight), followed by broadcasts on ABC and TV Aichi. Additionally, BS11 will air the show starting July 7 at 11:00 p.m. JST.

About the Manga
Created by Keiichi Arawi, known for Nichijou and Helvetica Standard, the CITY manga launched in Kodansha's Morning magazine in September 2016. It concluded in February 2021 with 13 volumes.
The full series has been licensed in English by Vertical (now Kodansha USA) and is available on their K MANGA platform. The manga also returned briefly in December 2024, continuing its popularity.
