My Hero Academia: You're Next Film Begins Streaming This Sunday

Crunchyroll will start streaming the My Hero Academia: You're Next film this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. EDT (5:00 p.m. PDT). Additionally, Netflix has already begun streaming the film the same day.
Film Release and Performance
- The film originally opened in Japan last August and made a strong box office impact.
- Tickets sold: 608,500 in its first three days
- Box office earnings: Approximately 895 million yen (~US$6.28 million) initially
- To date, the film has sold 2.48 million tickets and earned 3.55 billion yen (~US$23.4 million).
TOHO International started screening the film in U.S. theaters on October 11, with both English-subtitled and dubbed versions available. The film had its North American premiere at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles on October 6.

The film features an original story set during a time of societal collapse, where a mysterious giant fortress and a man resembling the former "Symbol of Peace" suddenly appear.
Home Video Release Bonus
The deluxe "Plus Ultra Edition" of the film's home video release includes a bonus anime short titled A Piece of Cake, adapting a special one-shot manga drawn by Horikoshi for Japanese audiences.
