Crunchyroll Launches 'Anime Nights' Across U.S. Theaters
Crunchyroll has announced an exciting new program called 'Crunchyroll Anime Nights', bringing anime screenings to over 225 theaters nationwide. This monthly event will feature a mix of anime films, curated TV episodes, previews of upcoming series, and classic titles to celebrate anime's rich history.
What to Expect
Screenings will take place on the third Monday of every month.
Participating theaters include major chains like Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Harkins Theatres, and Landmark Cinemas.
The lineup from October to December includes:
October 20: Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved
November 17: Overlord – Celebrating its 10th Anniversary with the first seven episodes of season one
December 15: Crunchyroll Anime Nights: Secret Sneak Peek! featuring an exclusive first look at upcoming series

Crunchyroll previously announced in June that it acquired the worldwide theatrical rights (excluding Asia) for the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved film.
The film opened on June 27 in Japan, screening in 199 theaters, directed by Tatsuya Ishihara.
