Naruto Dubs and Streaming Updates

Crunchyroll has recently expanded its Naruto offerings in India by adding Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for seasons eight and nine. These include episodes 183 through 220, bringing the total number of Naruto seasons available in India to nine.

Past Dubs Additions

• In May 2025, Crunchyroll added Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English dubs for seasons 4, 5, and 6.
• On May 31, 2025, season 7 was added with the same language options.

Naruto on TV in India

• Sony YAY! started airing the Naruto anime's first season in August 2022.
• The second season was aired in December 2022.
• Currently, Naruto Shippūden is broadcasting on Sony YAY! as of March 2024.
• Additionally, the Anime Booth channel on Airtel Digital TV launched in February 2024 features Naruto as one of its first titles.

Streaming on Netflix & Prime Video

• Netflix streams all nine seasons of the original Naruto series in India.
  • Started streaming seasons 1-4 in August 2022.
  • Added seasons 4-9 in September 2022.
  • Continued with seasons 10-18 in October 2022.
• The Naruto series has also been added to Amazon Prime Video by Anime Times in February 2024.

The Naruto Franchise Overview

The Naruto franchise includes multiple anime series, films, and OVAs:

• The original Naruto anime ran from 2002 to 2007.
• Its sequel, Naruto Shippūden, aired from 2007 until ending in 2017.
• The Boruto manga inspired the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which premiered in April 2017 and is currently ongoing.

Special Releases & Upcoming Films

• Four new episodes of the original Naruto were planned for September 2023 to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary but have been delayed.
• Reliance Entertainment plans to release Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow in Indian theaters in June 2025. The film first premiered in Japan in August 2004.
