Studio Trigger announced at Anime Expo that a new 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2' anime is currently in production! This upcoming series will expand the thrilling world introduced in the first season.

Who's Behind the Series?
- Director: Kai Ikarashi, making his directorial debut. He was a storyboard artist, animation director, and prop designer for the first season.
- Producer & Writer: Bartosz Sztybor is back to work on the series.
- Lead Character Designer: Ichigo Kanno, who also served as animation director and key animator previously.
- Scriptwriter: Masahiko Otsuka returns to craft the story.
