Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll have announced that the 4K return screenings of the blockbuster anime film Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train will arrive in Indian theaters starting June 13.

These special screenings will include an exclusive teaser sneak peek of the highly-anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film trilogy.

A Record-Breaking Journey

Mugen Train originally debuted in Japan in October 0 and premiered in Indian theaters in August 2021.
The film dominated the Japanese box office for a record 12 consecutive weeks.
It became the first film to ever surpass 40 billion yen in Japan.
Globally, it was the highest-earning film of 2020, marking the first time a non-Hollywood production topped the worldwide box office in over a century.

In October 2021, the Mugen Train Arc adapted the film into a seven-episode anime series.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will bring the first movie in the Infinity Castle trilogy to Indian theaters starting September 12.
The film opens in Japan on July 18, screening across a franchise-record 443 locations, including IMAX.
Aniplex aims to show the film in more than 150 countries and regions, widening the franchise’s global reach even further.

Entertainment District Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku-hen) premiered in December 2021 with a one-hour special.
- Crunchyroll added Hindi, Indian English, and Tamil dubs.
Swordsmith Village Arc debuted in April 2023 with an 11-episode run.
- Streaming available on Crunchyroll and Netflix as it aired in Japan.
- Hindi and Telugu dubs were later added for fans in India.
Hashira Training Arc launched in May 2024, concluding in June 2024 with a 60-minute final episode.
- Crunchyroll streamed the series simultaneously with Japan.
