Bandai Namco Entertainment has unveiled a new trailer for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, an upcoming 2D isometric roguelite game. The trailer introduces players to the guardians Origami and Shigin, who will play key roles in the adventure.

About the Game

Set in the distant, peaceful Shinju village, the game tells the story of a looming threat. The evil Magatsu seeks to dominate the land, and it’s up to Towa, the village priestess, along with eight trusted companions, to stop him.

Gameplay Highlights:

Choose two Guardians for each quest: one wields the sacred sword Tsurugi, and the other carries the magical staff Kagura.
Unique skills for each Guardian, which can be unlocked and upgraded inside dungeons and through meta-progression in the village.
Crafting and upgrading swords with various materials to customize combat styles.
Evolving village: As guardians complete quests across different timelines, Shinju village changes and grows.
Story and bonds: Players will develop relationships with villagers and uncover their stories, adding depth to the adventure.

Objective:

Conquer dungeons, defeat Magatsu’s minions, and restore peace to the land.
