About the Musical
The Siren is based on Sol Leesu's popular romance-fantasy web novel, Siren: I Became a Contract Family with the Villain. The tale was further adapted into a webtoon, The Siren: Becoming the Villain's Family, by Poya, which has amassed over 220 million views on Kakao Page and Kakao Webtoon services.
Storyline Overview
The musical follows Lloyd, a scion of the Valentine family, cursed over generations with demonic powers. His story intersects with Siren, the only being who can help lift his curse. As their lives intertwine through time, drama and romance unfold.
Casting Details
ShowNote has indicated that while auditions are open for several roles, some lead roles will be filled through private negotiations rather than public auditions.
Premiere Information
The Siren is set to debut at the Chungmu Art Center Grand Theater in Seoul.
For those interested, the English version of the webtoon is available on Tapas, with serialization starting in 2022 and ongoing.
