Elden Ring’s Continuing Success
FromSoftware has been a dominant force in recent years for its storytelling and groundbreaking game design. The main Elden Ring game previously won the Nebula Award for Game Writing in 2023. This year, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC continues to earn accolades.
The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion was released on June 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
A Legacy of Innovation
Looking back, Hayao Miyazaki, best known for his work at Studio Ghibli, won the Nebula Award for Best Script in 2007 for the celebrated film Howl’s Moving Castle. This highlights how creators like FromSoftware and Studio Ghibli continue to push the boundaries of storytelling within science fiction and fantasy.
