Exciting News: 'ELECEED' Gets an Anime Adaptation in 2026!
Amuse Creative Studio has announced that the popular webtoon series ELECEED will be turned into a television anime, set to premiere in 2026. Fans around the world are thrilled about this upcoming adaptation!
Meet the Creators and Production Team
- Author Jeho Son (known for Noblesse) and artist ZHENA shared their excitement with a congratulatory message and illustration.
- Jeho Son expressed:

- Hiroshi Nishikiori, renowned for directing IDOLiSH7 the Movie and Honey Lemon Soda, will helm the project at Dandelion Animation Studio.
- Yousuke Kuroda, known for My Hero Academia, is responsible for writing and overseeing the series scripts.
- Minami Sakura will handle character design.
- Kazuhiro Nishikawa, president of Dandelion Animation Studio, will participate in a panel at Anime Expo on July 6, sharing behind-the-scenes insights.
About the Series
ELECEED follows Jiwoo, a kind-hearted young man with lightning-fast reflexes, who secretly uses his powers to help others—saving children and pets alike. Meanwhile, Kayden, a secret agent on the run, finds himself trapped in the body of a fluffy, overweight cat. Together, armed with Jiwoo's superpowers and Kayden's intelligence, they fight against evil forces—though their partnership is often tested by their differences.
Since debuting in 2018, ELECEED has been translated into over 10 languages, including English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, French, and Spanish. It remains a top performer on NAVER WEBTOON's battle-action charts across North America, Asia, and Europe, with over 1.42 billion views worldwide.

Previous Adaptations
The series Noblesse received a TV anime adaptation by Production I.G in 2020, following a 2016 OVA titled Noblesse: Awakening. Both are available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
