Final Chapter of The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy Manga Published
Asuka Keigen's manga adaptation of Yū Shimizu's popular light novel series, The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy, has come to a close. The final chapter was released in the April issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine on Wednesday.

Story Overview
The manga, which began serialization in 2019, is based on Shimizu's light novel series of the same name. Yen Press describes the story as follows:
"The manga adaptation of the light novel series soon to be an anime! One thousand years ago, Leonis Death Magnus, the greatest of the Dark Lords, entered magical stasis during a climactic battle. Upon waking up, he discovers a beautiful silver-haired young woman named Riselia, but to his shock, he has been transformed into a ten-year-old boy! Now he must adapt to this strange new era while keeping his true powers a secret from his enchanting guardian."
Kadokawa is set to publish the 10th compiled volume of the manga on March 24.
Light Novel Series Completion
Kadokawa also published the first volume of Shimizu's light novel series, illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka, in May 2019. The series concluded with its 16th volume, which was released on October 25. Yen Press is scheduled to release the 11th volume of the novels on April 8.
Anime Adaptation
The anime adaptation of the novels premiered in October 2023 on television in Japan, having streamed early on the ABEMA service in September 2023. The streaming service HIDIVE is airing the anime and has also made an English dub available.
