Mitsuko Horie's Retro-Style Song for Upcoming Film
Mitsuko Horie has released a captivating retro-style song for the new film Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, which is set to debut in the U.S. on March 18.
Warner Bros. Japan Unveils New Video
On Friday, Warner Bros. Japan began streaming a video featuring Horie's performance for the film, a sequel to the popular Batman Ninja CG anime. The song is composed by Yūgo Kanno with lyrics by Kazuki Nakashima.

Release Date: March 18
Physical Release: 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Disc on April 15
The film will be available in Japanese with subtitles in various languages, including English, and will also feature an English dub.
Additionally, a two-film digital collection will be available, featuring both Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League and Batman Ninja.

Behind the Scenes
Junpei Mizusaki, known for his work on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, returns to direct the film alongside Shinji Takagi. The animation is once again handled by Kamikaze Douga, with returning staff members including scriptwriter Kazuki Nakashima, character designer Takashi Okazaki, and composer Yūgo Kanno.
Warner Bros. previously released the original Batman Ninja film digitally in April 2018, followed by a home video release in May 2018. The film debuted in Japanese theaters in June 2018 and aired on Toonami in October 2021.
In Batman Ninja, Batman travels back to Japan's Warring States period, facing off against villains like The Joker, who have taken on the roles of feudal lords.
Manga Adaptation and Stage Play
A manga adaptation of the anime, illustrated by Masato Hisa, was launched in Monthly Hero's magazine in June 2018 and concluded in September 2019. The manga won a Seiun Award in August 2020. Additionally, the anime inspired a stage play that ran in November 2021.
