CITY The Animation: New Details Unveiled
The official website for CITY The Animation, the upcoming anime based on Keiichi Arawi’s manga, has made an exciting announcement. The show will debut this July and has revealed new visuals, as well as updates on its staff and cast.

Creative Team
The anime is being directed by Taichi Ishidate, known for works like Violet Evergarden and Beyond the Boundary. This project marks the first original anime by Kyoto Animation in six years.

The series will feature:

Kyoto Animation describes the anime as:

Manga Background
Keiichi Arawi, known for works like Nichijou and Helvetica Standard, launched the CITY manga in September 2016, and it concluded in February 2021. The last compiled book was published by Kodansha in April 2021.
Good news for fans: the manga made its return in Kodansha’s Morning magazine on December 12.
