A New Sequel Is on Its Way
The official website for the live-action Kingdom films has announced that a fifth movie will be released next summer! The announcement was made alongside a super teaser visual, building anticipation among fans.

Returning Cast and Crew
- Kento Yamazaki will reprise his role as Shin (Xin).
- Shinsuke Satō, known for directing live-action adaptations like Gantz, Death Note Light up the NEW world, and Bleach, will return as director.
- Shinzō Matsuhashi is on board as producer.
First Footage Preview The first look at the new film will be shown after the uncut broadcast of Kingdom 4: Return of the Great General on the NTV channel this Friday evening in Japan.
About the Kingdom Series Based on Yasuhisa Hara's popular historical manga, the story follows Xin, a slave boy with dreams of becoming a great general for the Qin state. He helps Ying Zheng, the young king of Qin, rise to power and unifies China, fighting to lead an army capable of conquering the Seven Warring States.

- The first live-action film debuted in Japan in April 2019, earning about 53.2 million USD.
- It was screened at Anime Expo and in North America and Canada in 2019.
