Lotte Entertainment has announced the highly anticipated release of the live-action film adaptation of Omniscient Reader— set to hit theaters in July.
This movie is based on the popular webtoon, which follows Dok-ja Kim, the sole reader of a long-running fantasy novel. When the story’s events bleed into reality, Dok-ja teams up with its hero, Joong-hyuk Yoo, to avert a looming catastrophe.

The original webtoon, created by singNsong with art by Sleepy-C and adapted by UMI, is available in English on WEBTOON. Additionally, Yen Press is releasing the print version through its Ize Press imprint.
In July 2024, Crunchyroll announced a television anime adaptation of the webtoon. This adaptation is derived from singNsong's original web novel, with Ize Press set to release the printed novel series starting in July 2024.
