Ushio Shirotori, the talented manga creator, announced on her X/Twitter account last Saturday that she will be taking a break from her manga adaptation of Saki Ichibu's light novel Formerly, the Fallen Daughter of the Duke. The reason? She is recovering from the birth of her second child.
"I expect to be back by winter," Shirotori shared.
About the Manga and Its Story
Published by Tokyopop in English, the manga tells a captivating story:
Claire Martino once had everything: a loving family, a crown prince fiancé, and a hopeful future using her family's inherited magic. Then, in an instant, she lost it all — and the culprit was her own beloved half-sister. As the daughter of the now-disgraced duke and scorned as a villainess, Claire leaves everything she knows and sets out on a journey to find her true self.
Does this sound familiar? It’s reminiscent of the plot from the otome game NEW START ♡ ETERNAL LOVE on its hardest route!
