Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Set for May 21 Release
Level-5 has officially announced that its highly anticipated title, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, is set to launch on May 21. Originally anticipated in 2023, the game faced several delays before this new release date.
Multi-Platform Availability
In addition to its launch on the Nintendo Switch, the game will also be available on:
- PlayStation 5
- PlayStation 4

Set on Mysteria Island, players will create their own avatars and engage in various activities such as:
- Battling
- Gathering Resources
- Crafting Items
In the game, players can choose from multiple professions, including paladin, woodcutter, and cook. A unique feature is the ability to travel between the past and present to unravel the island's mysteries.
Delays and Changes
Initially scheduled for a 2023 release, the game was postponed to last summer, then pushed to October 10 before facing an indefinite delay. Most recently, it was slated for an April 2025 release.
The first installment in the Fantasy Life series launched in North America in October 2014 after its debut in Japan in 2012.
Looking Back
Level-5 first introduced Fantasy Life 2 as Fantasy Life Online back in 2015. After several delays, it was eventually released worldwide in December 2021 but ended services in both Japan and globally by early 2023.
