Final Volume of Long Story Short, I'm Living in the Mountains Set to Release
Mifumi Hamada's adaptation of Asagi's light novel series is reaching a significant milestone. Kadokawa has announced that the fourth and final volume of the manga, Zenryaku, Yamagurashi o Hajimemashita (Long Story Short, I'm Living in the Mountains), will be released on May 23.

Story Overview
The manga is based on Asagi's original light novel series, which has been licensed by J-Novel Club. The story follows Sano Shohei, a man overwhelmed by life after his fiancée leaves him. In a bid to escape his troubles, he decides to buy a mountain and live in solitude. However, he soon discovers that loneliness can be a challenge.

Manga Launch and Publication
Hamada launched the manga on Kadokawa's Isekai Comic website in April 2023. The third volume was published on December 23. Meanwhile, Asagi began sharing the story on the Kakuyomu website in March 2022, with Kadokawa publishing the light novels featuring illustrations by Shino starting in December 2022. The 10th volume of the light novels was released on March 10.
