GENIC to Perform Opening Theme for New Anime
GENIC will kick off the excitement for the upcoming anime adaptation of Tatsurō Suga's manga, The Catcher in the Ballpark! with the opening theme song titled "Hurray!!". The news was officially announced on Saturday through the anime's X/Twitter account.

Story Overview
The Catcher in the Ballpark! follows Murata, an office worker, who becomes a regular customer at a beer stand run by Ruriko, a vendor with a gyaru appearance. Despite her cold demeanor, Ruriko hides a more innocent side that emerges when Murata is not around.
Manga Background
The manga first debuted in Kodansha's Morning magazine in September 2020. The 15th compiled volume was published on November 21, with the 16th volume set to release on March 21.
