Anime fans have something to look forward to as Tatsuyuki Nagai returns to direct the highly anticipated fourth season of A Certain Scientific Railgun at J.C. Staff.

This exciting news was revealed through a teaser video on the official YouTube channel dedicated to Kazuma Kamachi's acclaimed A Certain Magical Index light novel series. The announcement suggests that the new season will be arriving "soon." You can check out the teaser below:

Tatsuyuki Nagai will reprise his role as director, while Kiyotaka Haimura is credited for the original character designs.
Background on the Series
The third season, A Certain Scientific Railgun T, premiered in January 2020 and consisted of 25 episodes. Fans enjoyed not only the main story but also new bonuses included in home video releases.
Crunchyroll streamed the third season with subtitles, while Funimation provided an English dub. If you're new to the series, Kamachi's light novels have also inspired multiple adaptations, including three television anime series and a film, not to mention the spinoff manga that led to its own TV adaptations.
