The Catcher in the Ballpark! Anime Premieres April 1
The official website for The Catcher in the Ballpark! anime adaptation of Tatsurō Suga's manga announced that the series will premiere on April 1 at 24:00 (effectively April 2 at midnight JST or April 1 at 11:00 a.m. EDT). It will air on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels, with additional broadcasts on AT-X and BS NTV. Streaming will be available on Japanese services such as ABEMA, Lemino, and Anime Times, followed by other platforms.

Story Overview
The anime follows Murata, an office worker, who becomes the first regular customer of Ruriko, a beer vendor who radiates a gyaru aesthetic. Though Ruriko initially acts cold, her innocent personality reveals itself when Murata is not around.
