Happinet just dropped some thrilling news on Tuesday: Kyōsuke Nishiki's beloved manga, Chanto Suenai Kyūketsuki-chan (also known as Vampires Chan Can't Suck Properly), is getting a television anime adaptation this year! Fans of the series are in for a treat as the company also revealed the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual of the upcoming anime.
To celebrate this exciting announcement, Nishiki shared an eye-catching illustration that showcases the charm of the original work.
The lineup for the main cast looks promising and includes talented names. Sayaka Yamai, known for her work on Dungeon People and Fantasy Bishōjo Juniku Ojisan to, is taking the helm as the director at the animation studio feel. Meanwhile, Yuniko Ayana, who brought us series like BanG Dream! and Given, will be handling the series scripts. Fans can also look forward to character designs by Takuya Tani, known for his work on Muv-Luv Alternative.
Originally launched in May 2021 in Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age, Chanto Suenai Kyūketsuki-chan has gained a dedicated following. The first volume hit the shelves in October of that same year, with the seventh volume released just recently on October 9.
