Background of the Story
The anime adaptation was first announced in 2021. The manga is being released in English by Seven Seas and follows the story of Aya, who dreams of becoming as graceful as her idol Shirayuri, only to discover that Shirayuri is a hardcore gamer with a competitive edge.
Plot Summary:
Kuromi Girls' Academy is a prestigious school that demands excellence in behavior from its students. Aya, a scholarship student, aspires to be like her idol Shirayuri, who hides her true identity as a fierce gamer. Could their shared passion for gaming lead to a deeper friendship?
Manga Launch and Adaptations
The manga first appeared in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper in January 2020. As of October 22, Kadokawa has published the eighth volume, while Seven Seas released the seventh volume on December 17.
