Announcement Details
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Negi Haruba's Go, Go, Loser Ranger! and The Quintessential Quintuplets announced that the latest chapter was not included in this year's 12th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine. This was due to Haruba's health issues, and it will also be absent in the magazine's next issue. However, readers can expect the manga to return in the magazine's 14th issue on March 5.
About the Manga
Kodansha USA Publishing is set to release the manga in English, describing it as follows:
When the Monster Army invaded Earth thirteen years ago, the Divine Dragon Rangers rose up to stop them! With the war raging on, these great heroes are mankind's last hope!
...or are they?
In truth, the invaders were subjugated within a year, forced to continue to crank out a monster a week for the Rangers to crush in front of their adoring fans! But one monster has had enough. Something has to change! He'll rebel against the might of the Dragon Rangers and destroy them all... from the inside!
Haruba, known for The Quintessential Quintuplets, launched the ongoing series in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2021.
Anime Adaptation
In addition to the manga, Go, Go, Loser Ranger! is inspiring a television anime. The first season premiered on TBS and its affiliates in April 2024, and it will be available worldwide on Disney+ and Hulu in North America. A second season is also in the works and is set to debut on April 13, 2025.
