New Promotional Video and Theme Song Details Revealed for Upcoming Anime

Kadokawa has unveiled the main promotional video for its highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Mika Kamisu's manga, based on Shirohi's novel series, Gorilla no Kami Kara Kago Sareta Reijō wa Ōritsu Kishidan de Kawaigareru (The Lady Blessed by the Gorilla God Is Adored by the Royal Knights). This reveal came on Thursday, exciting fans eager for more information.

Key Release Details

Debut Date: The anime will premiere on April 6, 2025.
Opening Theme: Illuminate performed by Shugo Nakamura.

Broadcast and Streaming Information

The anime will air on AT-X at 11:30 p.m. on April 6, followed by broadcasts later that night on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS Asahi. It will also be available for streaming on d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai.

About the Series

Set in a world where individuals can be blessed by various animal gods upon turning 16, this unique gorilla romantic comedy follows Sofia Reeler, a shy earl's daughter, who is blessed by the powerful Gorilla God.

The original novel series was created by Shirohi on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō web service, with the manga adaptation serialized by Kadokawa’s Flos Comic since 2021.
