Gundam Creator Yoshiyuki Tomino to Speak at Spacetide 2025 Conference

Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator and director of the iconic Mobile Suit Gundam, is set to give a special presentation at the upcoming Spacetide Foundation's Space Business Conference — Spacetide 2025, on July 8.

Exploring the Future of Space and Humanity

The seminar titled "Questioning the Possibility of Realizing the 'Universal Century (U.C.)' and the Value of Space Business" aims to:

Examine how close we are to the future depicted in Gundam.
Discuss ways humanity can venture into space without damaging Earth.
Gather insights from Tomino on the rapid commercialization and development of space activities.

Tickets:

Early bird tickets are available until May 31 — ranging from ¥10,000 to ¥75,000 (about US$70 to US$520).
Regular tickets will go on sale from June 1 to June 30 — from ¥10,000 to ¥98,000 (around US$70 to US$680).
Last-minute tickets are available from July 1 to July 10 — priced from ¥10,000 to ¥138,000 (roughly US$70 to US$960).

Note: Early bird prices are between ¥10,000 and ¥75,000, while regular and last-minute tickets can go up to ¥138,000.
