New Anime Series 'Hero Without a Class' Set to Debut in October
Exciting news for anime fans! The upcoming adaptation of Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! has officially been announced, with a premiere scheduled for October. The series will be available on television and streaming platforms, including HIDIVE, which will simulcast the episodes as they air.
World Premiere at Anime NYC
In addition to its TV debut, the first episode will have its world premiere at Anime NYC, taking place from August 21–24 in New York City. Fans attending the event will get an exclusive first look at the series.

- The anime is based on the novel series written by Shichio Kuzu and illustrated by Yumehito Ueda.
- The story follows Arel, the son of a Sword Princess and an Archmage, who discovers he has no Class or Skills—an unusual and challenging situation in his world.
- The series features a talented cast, including Kenshō Ono as Allele, Saori Hayami as Laina, and Sumire Uesaka as Lilia.
- New cast member Rumi Okubo will voice Kufa.

- The manga adaptation is being released in English by One Peace Books, which describes the story:
In a world where everyone receives a Class and Skills at age ten, Arel, the son of Sword Princess Farah and Archmage Leon, learns he has no class at all! With no class or skills, he relies on hard work, wit, and cunning to become a hero in his own way.
- The novel series originally debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in November 2017, with Earth Star Entertainment publishing the novels starting July 2018.
- The manga, launched by Akio Nanae in Comic Earth Star in November 2018, has released up to its ninth volume as of March 2024.
