A Reflection on Peace and History
These screenings are part of a broader effort to remember the devastating impact of nuclear warfare. The event marks 80 years since the first atomic bombing and is included in the Cinematheque of Peace 2025 initiative, running from July to September. The goal is to help attendees inherit the reality of the atomic bombing and share thoughts about peace through film.
Broader Broadcasts
In addition to the local screenings, the film will be broadcast nationwide on August 15 by YTV during its Kinyō Roadshow programming block. This date coincides with the 80th anniversary of Japan's surrender in World War II.
