Ize Press Announces New English Print Editions for Two Manhwa Titles

At the Sakura-Con 2025 industry panel held last Friday, Ize Press revealed plans to publish English print editions of two popular manhwa titles:

• The Merman Trapped in My Lake
• I Love Amy

The Merman Trapped in My Lake

Created by illustrator R.PPOBI with an original story by Mitchu, this series follows Servaine Noxirel, the last heir of a noble family that has fallen from grace. After hearing mysterious stories from her great-grandfather—one about a young girl who imprisoned a merman in a lake—Servaine encounters the merman himself. He has patiently awaited the girl's return for over a century, and the story delves into whether his long wait is borne from love or revenge.

• Currently serialized on WEBTOON and boasting over one million views.
• A romance fantasy with dramatic and psychological themes focusing on obsession and longing.

I Love Amy

By unni, I Love Amy is a completed four-volume girls-love series. It starts with Bibi seeing Amy as a romantic rival for Peter’s affection.
