Junji Ito's 'Crimson' Anime Announced
During the Japan Expo 2025 in Paris, a panel announced an upcoming anime titled Junji Ito Crimson, based on the renowned horror manga artist's various works. Fans can look forward to a fresh adaptation that brings Ito's eerie tales to life.
Yumi Matsutōya Performs the Theme Song
Singer Yumi Matsutōya will perform the theme song for the anime, titled "Karasu Ageha". To give fans a taste of what's to come, a music video for the song has been released, featuring illustrations by Junji Ito himself.
The main character, Karasu Ageha, symbolizes the connection between the underworld and the present world. The song will also be included in Matsutōya's upcoming 40th original album, set to release this fall.
