Exciting Anime Adaptations Announced for Two Popular Manga

Both manga are set to receive TV anime adaptations debuting in July.

New Additions to English Manga Lineup

Kodansha USA’s K MANGA subscription service announced this week that it has added several notable manga titles to its English library:

Solo Camping for Two

Solo Camping for Two was launched in 2018 in Kodansha’s Evening magazine and is currently serialized in Morning.
The story follows Gen Kinokura, a 34-year-old solo camper who loves his own company, and Shizuku Kusano, a 20-year-old beginner camper. The manga explores their camping adventures and unlikely friendship.
The series has sold over 3 million copies, with the 20th volume released on April 23.
It was nominated for the 45th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021.

The anime will premiere on July 10 on Tokyo MX.
It will also air on BS Asahi (July 11) and Nagasaki Culture Telecasting Corporation (July 11).
Yomiuri TV will broadcast it on July 15.
Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.

Dekin no Mogura

Follows university students Magi and Yaeko who witness a suspicious incident involving a falling dictionary and start seeing strange things.
The manga is available on the Comic Days service; the ninth volume shipped on April 23, with the tenth coming out on July 23.

The anime adaptation of Dekin no Mogura is scheduled to premiere on July 7 on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m.
It will also air on BS11 later that evening.
Crunchyroll will also stream this series.

The manga series Solo Camping for Two already inspired a live-action series that debuted on January 9.
