A New Visual and Premiere Date Announced
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Kagaku×Bōken Survival! has shared some exciting updates. Fans can now look forward to the second season of this popular science adventure anime, which will debut on October 4th on the NHK Educational channel at 6:25 p.m. JST.

- Mega-earthquake survival
- Tidal flats survival
- Mountain survival
- Night safari survival
- Moon survival
- Rising sea levels survival
These themes promise thrilling and educational adventures, emphasizing science and resilience.
Streaming and Series Overview
The first season of Kagaku×Bōken Survival! was streamed in February by Jme TV under the title Surviving Science!, with Japanese audio. The series follows Geo, the 'survival expert,' and Dia, the 'survival genius,' as they face various crises with courage and scientific knowledge.

The first season premiered in October 2024 on NHK Educational.

About the Series and Its Origins
The Kagaku Manga Survival series began in 2008 as an educational manga and study book series, originating from South Korea by Gomdori Co. and Hyun-Dong Han. It has sold over 14 million copies in Japan and more than 35 million worldwide.
In addition to the manga, Toei Animation produced a short animated video in 2019 and two full-length anime films: Survive! Inside the Human Body (2020) and Shinkai no Survival! (Survive! In the Deep Sea) (2021).
