In a surprising turn of events, producer and game designer Keiji Inafune, known for his work on the Mega Man series, parted ways with Level 5 in mid-2024 during the game's development. This shift coincides with the establishment of the Level 5 Osaka Office, which has taken over business operations, including the development of this highly anticipated title.
Akihiro Hino, the CEO of Level 5, has stepped in as the producer for the project.
