Deadline has reported that director Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation, Civil War) is in discussions with actor Kit Connor (Heartstopper, The Wild Robot, Warfare) to headline the upcoming live-action Hollywood adaptation of Elden Ring, the hit action RPG from Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware.
Both Garland and Connor are enthusiastic about the project, according to Deadline—though scheduling details still need to be finalized. Notably, Connor recently starred in Warfare, co-directed by Garland.
